About Dredge
Dredge (2023) fishes a cursed archipelago by day and dodges fog beasts by night, opening March 30, 2023 for PC, Switch and PlayStation/Xbox from Black Salt Games. The Pale Reach DLC (2023) adds an ice field story from November 16, 2023. The Iron Rig DLC (2024) adds a constructible rig with 50 plus fish from August 15, 2024. Blackstone Key day one DLC only adds trinkets.
The expansions assume you can trawl, dredge spots and manage panic, with Iron Rig tuning for end game hulls. No new DLC has been announced, with a film adaptation in work instead. Play base, then Pale Reach, then Iron Rig, or buy Complete Edition November 2024 for all in one.
Good to know
Release order matches difficulty order, with Pale Reach icing decks that Iron Rig reuses. Do not start with Iron Rig, since its rig orders assume trawl basics and full map unlocks. Mobile ports from February 27, 2025 play the same loop with touch nets. Treat the set as complete game wise, with Collector's Edition as the final pack.
