About Excitebike
Excitebike started November 1984 in Japan on Famicom with track editor and overheating. Excitebike 64 in April 2000 on N64 adds stunts and seasons. World Rally in November 2009 on WiiWare returns to 2.5D with online.
Excite Truck in November 2006 on Wii and Trick Racing Bots in April 2009 share the Excite name with trucks and robots. The full Excite series counts six with those spinoffs. No new game has been announced as of September 2026. Play Excitebike, 64, then World Rally, with Truck and Bots as extras.
Good to know
There is no story order for Excitebike. Tracks and riders reset each game, so release order is the only list. Truck and Bots play different with morphing courses. The branded trilogy of 1984, 64 and World Rally stands alone from the wider Excite spinoffs. The series is dormant since 2009 with no new entry dated.
