About Ib
Ib traps a girl named Ib in a cursed gallery with Garry and Mary, dodging living art across multiple endings. Kouri released the original February 27, 2012 on PC in RPG Maker 2000 with final version 1.07 in 2014.
PLAYISM published the remake April 11, 2022 on Steam with English that May, then Switch March 9, 2023 and PS4 and PS5 March 14, 2024. The remake uses RPG Maker MV with redrawn art, new music, puzzles, and Zoom Mode. No sequel was made. Play either version once, remake first for new players.
Good to know
There is no sequel timeline since both versions tell the same gallery story with the same endings structure. Release order here is original then remake for history. New players should pick the remake for updated visuals and puzzles. Returning players can revisit the 2012 freeware for the spare look. Treat the series as finished at two versions with nothing further announced.
