Klei is the Vancouver indie that never repeats itself. Shank from 2010 opened with cartoon brawler revenge, Mark of the Ninja from 2012 perfected 2D stealth, and Don't Starve from 2013 made hunger a roguelike art style. Invisible Inc from 2015 turned tactics into heist turns.
Don't Starve Together from 2016 split the starvation into co-op, Oxygen Not Included from 2019 buried it in space colony sim, and Griftlands from 2021 dealt it as deckbuilder negotiation. Rotwood reached 1.0 in March 2026 as a co-op dungeon hack. Don't Starve Elsewhere is announced with no date. Play in release order.

Release order is the play order since no two games share a world. The Don't Starve entries share cryptids and dread, but Together and the DLCs all stand alone. Start with Don't Starve or Oxygen Not Included for the house survival grammar. Elsewhere is announced with a live wishlist and no date, so it sits last. Tencent owns the majority since 2021 with Klei keeping product control.
