About LEGO Star Wars
LEGO Star Wars retells the saga as Traveller's Tales co-op action across six main games from 2005 to 2022. The 2005 prequel game and 2006 original trilogy game merged into the 2007 Complete Saga, followed by Clone Wars in 2011, Force Awakens in 2016 and the all nine reboot Skywalker Saga in 2022.
Play in release order for the mechanics evolution from silent era to voiced saga. Story chronologically the prequel game precedes the original trilogy one with Clone Wars between, but the Complete Saga and Skywalker Saga compilations supersede their parts, so release order stays recommended.
Good to know
Release order is recommended because each game rebuilds the formula, while the compilations collect rather than continue. Complete Saga bundles the first two games with extras, and Skywalker Saga reboots all nine films with DLC packs. No new main Traveller's Tales entry has been announced as of 2026.
