About Little Nightmares
Little Nightmares from 2017 follows Six escaping the Maw ship past the Janitor and chefs. Secrets of the Maw from 2017 adds Runaway Kid DLC in the same halls. Little Nightmares 2 from 2021 follows Mono and Six in the city, and Little Nightmares 3 from October 2025 moves to new kids with co op from Supermassive.
Play 1, then Maw DLC, then 2, then 3. The Enhanced Edition from 2025 matches the first game with clean visuals. DLC chapters for 3 plus a VR Altered Echoes are announced with no dates, so 3 is the latest chapter rather than a close.
Good to know
Stories connect loosely through theNowhere world rather than direct saves, so release order is about seeing scares evolve. The DLC assumes the base Maw escape, so slot it second. With 3 out in 2025 and extras announced, treat the run as ongoing and check back once DLC actually dates. Tarsier Studios developed the first two games.
