About Love-de-Lic
Love-de-Lic formed from ex Square staff and made Moon: Remix RPG Adventure in 1997 for PlayStation, where catching souls beats grinding levels. Chulip followed in 2002 on PlayStation 2 about kissing your way through a cursed town with strict timing. Giftpia closed the run in 2003 on GameCube with Pockle working off a wedding debt on Nanashi Island.
The studio split after Giftpia into Skip and Punchline, so no fourth game exists. English fans rely on the 2020 Moon port and fan guides for Chulip and Giftpia. Release order shows the kindness systems growing from battles to jobs.
Good to know
Play Moon, then Chulip, then Giftpia since mechanics and jokes build in that line. Chulip has strict clocks, so keep a guide nearby for the underground parts. Giftpia is the gentlest and fits last of all here. The studio closed years ago, so the three game run is complete with no dated follow up in sight.
