About Magical Vacation
Magical Vacation from 2001 follows students stranded in Kovomaka with spirit summons and school magic on Game Boy Advance, Japan only. It sets the Will-o-wisp roster, gummy fusion and field spells across dungeons.
Magical Starsign from 2006 continues on DS with new students and planets but the same spirit engine. No new game has been dated. Play Vacation first, then Starsign, since the sequel reuses and widens the first game summon and school rules. Dungeons stand alone per spirit, but school bonds and summon rules grow from Vacation to Starsign.
Good to know
Release order matches the best play path, since Starsign assumes Vacation summon basics. Vacation teaches spirits, gummies and rows through early dungeons. Starsign adds planets and touch spells that only click after that base. Vacation needs a fan patch in English, so guides fill gaps. Start with Vacation.
