About Nights
Nights starts in 1996 with Elliot and Claris flying through Nightopia with Nights against Wizeman in dreams. The Saturn stick suits loops and links across 7 dreams with score chases. Christmas Nights from 1996 adds holiday Twin Seeds as a sampler disc with Sonic extras.
Journey of Dreams from 2007 returns with Will and Helen on Wii with bird chases. The 2012 HD port revives the original with widescreen dreams. The series shares Nightopia but resets kids, so release order suits flight feel over plot with Wizeman returns.
Good to know
Play Into Dreams first, either Saturn or 2012 HD, then Christmas Nights as a holiday extra for fun times. Journey fits last as the Wii return with its own kids rather than a part two. Links need loop flow more than speed, so learn circle reads early. No new Nights had been dated as of September 2026.
