About Project Gotham Racing
Project Gotham Racing started November 2001 as an Xbox launch title from Bizarre Creations, carrying the Kudos style points from Metropolis Street Racer. Part 2 in 2003 refines it on Xbox and part 3 in November 2005 launches Xbox 360.
Part 4 in October 2007 adds bikes and weather as the final Bizarre entry before the Activision sale, with Forza replacing it as Xbox flagship. Mobile versions in 2006 and 2007 plus Ferrari Edition in 2009 on Zune HD close the run. No new game has been announced as of September 2026. Play 1 through 4 in order.
Good to know
There is no story order for Project Gotham. Cities and cars reset each game around Kudos style, so release order is the only list. Mobile and Ferrari Edition are optional extras outside the four mains. Bizarre closed in 2011 after Blur, so part 4 from 2007 is the endpoint for the main line. Start with the 2001 original.
