About Simon the Sorcerer

Simon the Sorcerer from Adventure Soft launched in 1993 as a point and click parody with Simon entering a closet world to stop Sordid. The Lion, the Wizard and the Wardrobe from 1995 continues with a Narnia riff, Swampling and Calypso shop gags. Harnessing Chaos from 2002 shifts to 3D with a body swap and new camera.

Chaos Happens from 2007 and Who'd Even Want Contact from 2009 close with clones and aliens plus council jokes. All five share Chris Barrie voices and fairy tale gags throughout. No sixth was planned, so the 2009 alien end stands as the close.

Good to know

Play one to five in release order since Sordid, Calypso and Swampling carry over directly each game and spell books stack. Later games spoil the S1 closet fate in openers, so do not skip ahead at all. The 3D shift changes controls but keeps jokes and spells intact. Treat the five as closed with one wizard graduation at the end.
