About Sloclap
Sloclap is a Paris studio of former Ubisoft Paris staff whose debut was Absolver, an online martial arts RPG published by Devolver Digital on August 29, 2017. Its combat deck lets players build custom move sets across the land of Adal in solo, co-op and PvP fights. Sifu followed on February 8, 2022 as a single-player kung fu revenge tale with an aging pendant that trades years of life for power, passing 4 million sales by May 2025.
Rematch launched June 19, 2025 as a third-person team football game co-published with Kepler Interactive, built on Unreal Engine 5 with 3v3 to 5v5 matches and no fouls or offsides. Cross-play arrived in September 2025 and an offline mode with AI teammates is planned for 2026. The three games share a studio, not a world.
Good to know
The three games share no characters or story, so release order and story order are the same single list: Absolver, then Sifu, then Rematch. Absolver's servers remain online but the community is small now, so expect slow matchmaking and enjoy the solo campaign either way. Rematch is multiplayer only for now with cross-play added in September 2025, while Sifu is fully single-player from start to finish.
