About Star Wars Galaxies
Star Wars Galaxies An Empire Divided (2003) launched ground professions across ten planets with player cities and houses. Jump to Lightspeed (2004) added space combat with Rebel, Imperial and Freelance pilots plus Sullustan and Ithorian species.
Rage of the Wookiees (2005) added Kashyyyk planet and asteroid mining in May 2005, requiring Lightspeed to fly there manually. Trials of Obi-Wan (2005) added Mustafar ground planet in November 2005 before NGE overhaul two days later. Play in release order, since Kashyyyk needs space travel and Mustafar assumes prior combat changes. Complete Online Adventures bundles all four.
Good to know
Release order is required since Rage needs Lightspeed flight to reach Kashyyyk. Start with Empire Divided for ground professions and housing that teach economy. Add Lightspeed for space pilots, then Wookiees and Obi-Wan for late planets. The live service is complete at December 2011 shutdown, with emulator projects carrying unofficial play after.
