About Starfield
Starfield launched September 6, 2023 on PC and Xbox Series with Constellation exploring the Settled Systems. Shattered Space followed September 30, 2024 with House Va'ruun on Va'ruun'kai. Both run on Creation Engine 2 with ship building and outposts.
The PS5 port with Shattered Space plus Free Lanes update and Terran Armada expansion all landed April 7, 2026. Terran Armada adds a robotic faction as paid story. No further dated DLC exists as of October 2026. Play base, then Shattered Space, then Terran Armada in release order.
Good to know
Release order is story order across one continuity. Base sets Constellation rules that Shattered Space twists with cult horror and Terran Armada extends with robots. Shattered Space needs about 15 hours after the main path. The PS5 launch is the same content with DualSense support. No yearly pass beyond Terran Armada is dated.
