Galerians follows Rion, a psychic teen escaping the Michelangelo hospital while the Galerians hunt him for his growing powers. The games span the 1999 PlayStation original and the 2002 sequel Ash, with the three part Rion CGI OVA retelling the first game's escape.
Play Galerians, then watch Rion, then play Ash. The OVA compresses the original's hospital run, so it bridges rather than replaces the game. Ash jumps years ahead with Rion's son figure Cain, assuming you know the psychic drug rules. The series closed in 2002 with no new game announced.
