- 1 Corpse Party: Blood Covered... Repeated Fear Start here. PSP remake of the PC remake; the 2021 Steam and console port titled Corpse Party is the version to buy.
- 2 Corpse Party: Book of Shadows Direct sequel built from nonlinear chapters, ending with a prologue that sets up Blood Drive.
- 3 Corpse Party: Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash Comedy-leaning midquel. Optional, but it sets up details that pay off in Blood Drive.
- 4 Corpse Party: Blood Drive Finale of the Heavenly Host arc. Vita in Japan in 2014 and the west in 2015, then PC and Switch in 2019.
- 5 Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient Separate hospital cast set years after the main arc. Episodic and incomplete: first chapter 2013, expanded Neues edition 2017. Play after Blood Drive.

About Corpse Party
Corpse Party is a Japanese horror adventure series about students trapped in the cursed Heavenly Host Elementary School. The core saga runs from Blood Covered through Book of Shadows to Blood Drive, with a comedy midquel and a hospital side story around it. Newcomers should start with Blood Covered in its Repeated Fear form, ideally the 2021 Steam and console port plainly titled Corpse Party.
Release order is the recommended play order, and it matches story order closely enough that one list covers both. Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash is skippable comedy, but it plants details that pay off in Blood Drive. Dead Patient uses a new cast in a hospital years after the main arc, so play it after Blood Drive even though its first chapter came out earlier.
Good to know
The series began as a 1996 PC-98 RPG Maker game, later remade as Blood Covered; start with the remake, not the original. Corpse Party II: Darkness Distortion, a new mainline entry from MAGES and Team GrisGris, is announced with Japan targeted for 2026 on PS4, Switch and PC plus a PS5 version, but no firm date is confirmed. The Tetralogy Pack bundle is Japan-only on Switch and its planned western release was cancelled.
