About Corpse Party
Corpse Party opened in 1996 as a doujin horror RPG trapping students in Heavenly Host school with Sachiko's curse. BloodCovered remade it in 2008 for PSP, expanding every death scene.
Book of Shadows followed in 2011 with side stories, Blood Drive in 2014 closing the arc, and Dead Patient reviving the series in 2019. Play in release order: original, BloodCovered, Shadows, Blood Drive, Dead Patient. Each chapter assumes the curse rules known. Sachiko's backstory deepens with every single chapter.
Good to know
Release order carries Sachiko's curse from doujin origins through the PSP peak. BloodCovered replaces the 1996 original for modern players, with the 2021 remaster as the current version. Dead Patient's rollout has been slow, so the run reads as paused rather than finished. Horror fans should brace for graphic pixel deaths.
