About Syberia
Syberia from 2002 follows Kate Walker chasing Hans across automaton towns and trains with puzzles. Syberia II from 2004 continues to the island close directly with mammoths. Syberia 3 from 2017 moves to a new studio era with clinic plots.
The World Before from March 2022 on PC and late 2022 on consoles pairs Kate with Dana in a dual timeline tale. A remaster of the original arrived November 2025 on modern consoles and PC with a VR version included. No fifth game is announced beyond the released remaster.
Good to know
Play 1, 2, 3, then World Before in that order fully from the start. The Hans thread and Kate growth only land in sequence across the saga. The 2025 remaster replaces the original visually now for newcomers. World Before assumes all prior games, so it must close the run rather than open it for anyone. The Youkol and automaton lore pays off only in order.
