About Team Meat
Team Meat is Tommy Refenes carrying the Meat Boy torch past McMillen's exit. Super Meat Boy from October 2010 set the ultra tight splitter with McMillen, Forever from December 2020 rebooted it as an auto runner without him, and the Mean Meat Machine from June 2023 puzzled Dr Fetus match lines.
Super Meat Boy 3D from March 31, 2026 goes Unreal Engine 5 with Sluggerfly co-developing. Binding of Isaac and The End Is Nigh belong to McMillen with others, not this studio. Mewgenics moved to McMillen and Glaiel at release. Play the original first for the splitter grammar.
Good to know
Release order is the play order. The Meat Grinder level editor folds into the Forever entry. Isaac, End Is Nigh and Mewgenics belong to McMillen collaborations outside Team Meat and stay out. The 3D entry is the current endpoint with no next title dated. Start with the original for the tightest lessons.
