About Techland
Techland is the Wroclaw parkour house that outgrew its westerns. Call of Juarez from 2006 opened the revolver era, Bound in Blood from 2009 doubled the brothers, and Dead Island from 2011 threw co-op into the zombie resort. Riptide from 2013 and Gunslinger the same year kept both lines fed.
Dying Light from 2015 fused the zombies with freerunning Harran, the Following expansion from 2016 added the buggy countryside, and Dying Light 2 from 2022 split the city into factions. The Beast from September 2025 returns to Kyle Crane standalone. An untitled fantasy RPG is announced with no date. Play in release order.
Good to know
Release order is the play order. The Call of Juarez games share the west but each stands alone, while the Dying Light games have their own series guide for the Harran lore. Riptide continues Dead Island directly and must follow it. The Following expansion folds into the Dying Light entry rather than listing separately. The untitled fantasy RPG is announced with no title or date and sits last. Tencent took the majority stake in 2024 with independence kept.
