About Terraria
Terraria launched in 2011 from Re-Logic as a 2D dig and build survival game with caves, corruption and boss summons. Early play sets pickaxe tiers, base NPCs and Eye of Cthulhu nights with arena builds and hooks.
Free updates through Labor of Love in 2022 added Wall of Flesh hardmode, Plantera jungle and Moon Lord finale with hundreds of items and whips. No sequel has been released as of 2026, so the single game with updates stands alone with long mod support. Play fresh to Moon Lord once, then revisit with expert worlds and class builds.
