About Uncharted
Uncharted follows treasure hunter Nathan Drake across four mainline games, from Drake's Fortune (2007) to A Thief's End (2016). The Vita prequel Golden Abyss slots before the first game chronologically, and The Lost Legacy (2017) hands the lead to Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross after the finale. Release order is the play order below, and it matches the story order except for Golden Abyss.
Newcomers should start with The Nathan Drake Collection, which bundles the first three games, then play A Thief's End and The Lost Legacy. The 2022 Tom Holland film retells Drake's origin outside game canon, and no new Uncharted game has been dated. The Legacy of Thieves Collection remasters of Uncharted 4 and Lost Legacy are the latest releases.

The Uncharted film sequel was confirmed in development by Sony in June 2024, after producer Charles Roven said in Aug 2023 that the studio wanted to make one. A Sept 2026 rumor claims Naughty Dog has an Escayg-led project in the works, but it is unconfirmed and not listed. The Nathan Drake Collection (2015) is a PS4 bundle of the first three games, not a separate story. Golden Abyss launched Dec 2011 in Japan and Feb 2012 in the West; 2011 is used below. The card game Fight for Fortune (2012) and the mobile game Fortune Hunter (2016) are skippable side releases.
