About Weather Factory
Weather Factory formed from Fallen London staff and opened with Cultist Simulator in 2018 as a card tale of founding a cult. The game runs on timers, lore scraps and dread. Book of Hours followed in 2023 setting a ruined library on the Cornish coast with book repairs.
Both games share the Hours, Histories and Mansus but saves never carry. The writing hides wins behind reading. Release order shows the card systems growing into book rooms with the same occult patience intact throughout. The Kickstarter roots show in the card timers and lore scraps used.
