About 36th Chamber of Shaolin
The 36th Chamber of Shaolin from 1978 follows San Te training through 35 chambers to build the 36th school for laymen under Lau Kar-leung direction with head shaving vows. Return to the 36th Chamber from 1980 follows con man Zhou Renjie faking training with real staff work and scaffold labor in a dye mill.
Disciples of the 36th Chamber from 1985 follows Fong Sai-yuk under San Te with the Manchu fight and paper mill labor with Hsiao Ho leads. All three share Lau Kar-leung training with the chamber link and Gordon Liu leads. Watch in release order since drills stack. The run closed in 1985 with no revival.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for 36th Chamber worth listing, since release order gives the San Te myth before the con man riff and the pupil turn. The chamber drills repeat on purpose across staff forms and mills, so the training lands in order. Watch the 1978 original first, then take the two follow ups.
