About Fong Sai-yuk
Fong Sai-yuk from 1993 follows folk hero Fong Sai-yuk winning tournaments while hiding from the Red Flower Society with mother Miu Chui-fa comedy. Fong Sai-yuk II from later in 1993 continues with the Japanese fighter challenge and the society wedding trap.
Both share Corey Yuen wire kung fu with the same cast and mother gags. Watch in release order since the society heat stacks. The pair closed in 1993 with no third announced. Jet Li stars with Josephine Siao as Miu Chui-fa and Michelle Reis as Siu-wan. The tournament fights use wire work and comic timing.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Fong Sai-yuk worth listing, since release order matches the tournament year from first win to wedding trap. The mother comedy repeats on purpose, so the charm lands after the original. Watch both 1993 films back to back in order. Both films run near 100 minutes in Cantonese.
