About Project A
Project A from 1983 follows marine Dragon Ma fighting pirates with Fei and Inspector Hong across coast stunts and the famous clock tower fall. Project A Part II from 1987 moves Ma to the Manchu plot with Maggie Cheung and the Black Rose chase.
Both share Jackie Chan stunt comedy with the same trio energy. Watch in release order since the marine rank stacks. The pair closed in 1987 with no third announced. Sammo Hung co stars as Fei with Yuen Biao as Inspector Hong. The clock tower fall and bicycle chase rank among the most famous Hong Kong stunt set pieces.
Good to know
There is no separate chronological order for Project A worth listing, since release order matches the marine years from pirates to Manchu. The clock tower and chase stunts repeat as escalation on purpose. Watch the 1983 original first, then Part II for the close. Both films run near 100 minutes with Cantonese dialogue and English dubs.
