About Abominable
Abominable from DreamWorks and Pearl Studio opened September 27, 2019 about Yi finding the yeti Everest on her roof and taking him to the Himalayas with Jin and Peng. Abominable and the Invisible City followed as a series with season 1 of ten episodes October 5, 2022 on Peacock and Hulu.
Season 2 added ten more episodes March 29, 2023 and closed the show. The series follows the film directly with the same kids helping magical creatures. No film sequel has been announced, so the movie plus twenty episodes are the full story.
Good to know
Watch the 2019 film first since the series assumes Everest already reached home and knows Yi. The show is episodic with creature guests, so order inside seasons matters little, but season 1 sets the Invisible City rules. Each episode runs about 23 minutes. The Brazilian series Invisible City from Netflix is unrelated despite the similar title, so do not mix the two.
