About Anders Thomas Jensen
Anders Thomas Jensen debuted with Flickering Lights in 2000 about four crooks hiding out. Adams Apples followed in 2005 with Mads Mikkelsen as a priest testing a neo Nazi, then Men and Chicken in 2015 sent Mikkelsen to a strange island family.
Riders of Justice arrived in 2020 reuniting Mikkelsen with Jensen for a train crash revenge story mixing grief and probability nerds. The films share Mikkelsen, Nikolaj Lie Kaas and harsh jokes but no plot. Release order shows the gang comedy growing darker.
Good to know
Watch oldest to newest since the casts return as new people each time. Adams Apples and Riders of Justice pair as his faith and grief peaks. Men and Chicken is the strangest, so give it a clear night with no breaks. Flickering Lights first sets the gang humor base. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2020 train film stays last until one lands.
