About Baahubali
Baahubali follows Shiva as he learns he is the son of Amarendra Baahubali, the lost heir of Mahishmati, and the two films split his story into discovery and flashback. The Beginning ends on the question of why Katappa killed Baahubali, and The Conclusion answers it across a full prequel arc about the brothers Baahubali and Bhallaladeva.
The Lost Legends animated series and Crown of Blood prequel add side stories about the brothers defending Mahishmati before the films. Watch the two films first in release order, then either animated series. The announced Before the Beginning live action series has not released, so it stays out of the list for now.
Good to know
Release order works because The Beginning sets up the mystery and The Conclusion pays it off, and both animated series are prequels that assume you know the brothers already. Lost Legends covers early adventures in Mahishmati while Crown of Blood follows a Raktadeva war arc. Watch films first, then animation in any order. No third film has been dated, so the two-film run plus animation is the full list.
