About Extraction
Extraction stars Chris Hemsworth as mercenary Tyler Rake. The 2020 film sends him to Dhaka to rescue a drug lord's son. Extraction 2 (2023) reveals he survived and moves the action to a Georgian prison rescue.
The two films are linear. A third film is confirmed in development at Netflix with Hemsworth expected back, but it has no date.
Good to know
Watch in release order. The second film's opening explains the survival twist within minutes, so do not skip the first.
