About Inside
Inside from 2007 follows Sarah home alone before birth as an intruder seeks the baby in France. Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo direct the original to a stair and scissors close. Inside from 2018 remakes the same night siege in English with new leads.
Both share the house siege and baby hunt beats with new casts. Watch the French original first, then the US version to compare tension tone. The two share no continuity beyond the remake link. New viewers can start with the first entry for the cleanest introduction to the cast and rules around the siege.
Good to know
Release order works as original then remake with no shared timeline. The 2007 version runs about 82 minutes with a tight house night. The 2018 version runs about 90 minutes with a similar siege structure. Both end the night alone, so neither spoils beyond the known intruder shape. Start with 2007 for the first staging, then 2018 for the English take. No sequel links either film.
