About Mega Shark
Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus from 2009 pits two revived beasts against San Francisco for The Asylum with Deborah Gibson. Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus from 2010 adds a Congo croc with Jaleel White and Gary Stretch. Mega Shark vs Mecha Shark from 2014 answers with a UN robot shark built from the first shark's corpse.
Mega Shark vs Kolossus from 2015 ends the run against a Soviet robot whale with Ilsa Fisher lookalike framing. All four are standalone military versus monster romps with new casts. No fifth film has been announced. The Asylum keeps the line closed at four with Kolossus sunk.
Good to know
Watch in release order, since Mecha Shark directly reuses the first shark's body and assumes you saw it die. Each film resets the military cast, so no character tracking is needed. Expect scale jumps from octopus to croc to robot to whale. The 2015 finale is the intended stop, and later Asylum shark lines like Sharknado stay separate from this continuity.
