About A Minecraft Movie
A Minecraft Movie follows four misfits pulled into the Overworld with Steve, learning to craft and survive Piglin raids. The 2025 film sets block rules, the Orb and the run home with Jack Black and Jason Momoa. It ends with the crew back but the world open.
A sequel has been announced but has no firm date yet. The films tell a straight adventure with no timeline tricks. Watch the 2025 film first, then the sequel once dated, since crafting rules and Piglin stakes assume the original trip. The quest stands alone per build, but friendships and Piglin stakes grow with each trip.
Good to know
Release order will match story order, since the sequel continues the same crew with no prequel plans. The 2025 film works alone for family action, but the sequel jokes will need the crafting setup. No date has been set for part two, so the 2025 entry is the current end. Start at the first film. The sequel will build on the same crew and crafting rules learned in the first trip.
