About Mulan
Mulan from 1998 ends with the Hun invasion broken at the palace and the family honor restored. Mulan II from 2004 continues with an arranged-marriage escort mission for the princesses that divided fans.
The 2020 live-action version retells the legend separately without Mushu, splitting Shang into Commander Tung and Honghui while swapping Shan Yu for Bori Khan and the witch Xianniang. A live-action sequel was reported but stalled with no writers. Watch the animated pair in order, then the remake as its own telling.
