About Neighbors
Neighbors from 2014 follows new parents Mac and Kelly as a frat moves next door under Teddy. Neighbors 2 Sorority Rising from 2016 teams the parents with Teddy against a sorority house. Both track one street war with new tactics.
Watch the 2014 film then the 2016 sequel. The second assumes you know the Teddy truce from the first, so skipping weakens the team up. No third film is announced, so the pair stands complete as a two film run. Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne play Mac and Kelly in both films. Dave Franco appears as Pete in the first film.
Good to know
The two films share one street and family line with no prequels to reorder. Humor stays crude and house party heavy across both runs. With no shoot date for more, treat the 2016 film as the close rather than a middle chapter. Nicholas Stoller directed both films. James Weaver produced both entries for Point Grey Pictures.
