About Pedro Almodovar
Pedro Almodovar broke through during La Movida in Madrid, with Law of Desire in 1987 and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown in 1988 which earned an Oscar nomination. Tie Me Up Tie Me Down followed in 1989, High Heels in 1991, Live Flesh in 1997 and All About My Mother in 1999 which won the Oscar for best foreign film.
Talk to Her arrived in 2002 and won the Oscar for original screenplay, Volver in 2006, The Skin I Live In in 2011 and Pain and Glory in 2019.
