About Jane the Virgin
Jane the Virgin follows Jane Villanueva accidentally inseminated while saving herself for marriage, juggling Rafael and Michael across five CW seasons from 2014 to 2019. Early seasons build the love triangle, the hotel drama and the Sin Rostro crime plot through narrator jokes and on screen text.
Later seasons add the time jump after loss, the Mateo kidnapping fallout and the book career payoff with Rafael. The finale reveals the narrator identity and closes Jane writing career, so the meta twists only land when the reveals stack in order.

Watch seasons 1 through 5 in broadcast order, since deaths, returns and narrator hints plant seasons ahead with care.
