About Prom Night
Prom Night tracks Hamilton High seniors stalked at dances after childhood accidents. The 1980 original sets Curtis disco rules, Hello Mary Lou in 1987 haunts a new prom, The Last Kiss in 1990 plus Deliver Us from Evil in 1992 branch to sects, and the 2008 film remakes the dance with Snow.
Watch the 1980 film first for the gym chase grammar before sequels reuse the dance name loosely. Later entries reset schools with light ties, so sampling after the original is safe. No fifth prom has been dated, which leaves the four dances as the closed set.
Good to know
Release order keeps dance reveals intact with Hamilton first and remake last. The 1980 film plays disco slasher peak, so start there before the video sequels shift tone. Hello Mary Lou works best second as the ghost follow up. Treat the 2008 remake as an alternate start for new viewers after the original rather than a replacement.
