About Pulse
Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Kairo (2001) shows ghosts entering the world through the internet as people vanish across Tokyo.
Dimension Films remade it as Pulse (2006) with Kristen Bell, then continued that American story with Pulse 2: Afterlife (2008) and Pulse 3 (2008).
Good to know
Pulse 2: Afterlife arrived September 30, 2008 on DVD and Pulse 3 followed December 23, 2008 on DVD, both directed by Joel Soisson. A new Pulse reimagining was reported in development in September 2026 with no release date, so the four released films remain the complete set for now.
