About Rahul Sadasivan
Rahul Sadasivan directs Malayalam horror with patient dread. Red Rain from 2013 opened as a small sci-fi feature, Bhoothakaalam from January 2022 trapped a mother and son in a house that may be haunted or may be illness, streaming on SonyLIV. Bramayugam from February 2024 went black and white folk horror about a singer held in a mana.
Dies Irae from October 31, 2025 pairs him with Pranav Mohanlal for a Halloween release. Odiyan The Age of Illusion is listed for 2027 with no confirmed day. Watch in release order since the craft of sound led scares sharpens across the run.
Good to know
Release order is the only order since the four films share no story. Bhoothakaalam works as a first watch because its single house shows his sound design fastest. Bramayugam needs no prior viewing despite the period setting. Dies Irae released October 31, 2025. Odiyan is listed for 2027 with no confirmed day and sits last until dated.
