About Rescuers
The Rescuers is Disney's mouse rescue saga about agents Bernard and Bianca saving kids. The Rescuers from June 1977 follows Penny in the bayou with Medusa anddiamond. The Rescuers Down Under from November 1990 flies to Australia for Cody with McLeach and Marahute.
The Down Under film was Disney's first sequel and first digital ink feature. The medallion, albatross flights and villain lairs reset per kid. The partnership only grows if you saw the bayou first. The albatross wings never tire over seas.
Good to know
Release order is story order for the partnership, since Bianca recruits Bernard fresh in part one. Watch the 1977 bayou first for the Society rules, then Down Under for the outback scale. Either rescue works alone, but the romance lands in sequence. The medallion still shines across both rescues today.
