About Rose Glass
Rose Glass debuted with Saint Maud in 2019 about a nurse hearing God in a seaside town. The film won wide praise for its final blaze. Love Lies Bleeding followed in 2024 with Stewart loving a bodybuilder through crime and steroids.
Both films push bodies past limits with queer heat but never link plot. The first runs tight and holy while the second runs pulpy and veiny. Release order shows her care worker eye widening to American iron with the same nerve intact. Her short roots show in the tight runtimes and final blazes used.
Good to know
Watch Saint Maud before Love Lies Bleeding since the body grammar carries over well. Maud suits a dark chapel night while Bleeding wants gym sweat focus. Both reward nerve over plot hunger. No next feature has a date yet, so the 2024 iron film stays last until one is announced. Her festival prizes confirm the rise, so give Maud full attention.
