About Tarzan
Tarzan is Disney's vine swing saga about the ape raised man and Jane. Tarzan from June 1999 ends with Jane staying and Clayton falling. The Legend of Tarzan series with 39 episodes from 2001 follows jungle patrols with new villains. Tarzan and Jane from July 2002 collects three series arcs as a film.
Tarzan II from June 2005 rewinds to young Tarzan proving himself with Zugor. The jungle rules, Terk jokes and Kala heart stay fixed while threats reset. The prequel only lands after the classic. The treehouse stands tall.
Good to know
Release order beats timeline order for a first watch, since Tarzan II assumes you know grown Tarzan. Watch the 1999 classic, then the series arcs, then Tarzan and Jane, then part two last as a flashback. Timeline fans can move part two second on rewatch, but the songs hit harder in release. The vine calls still echo.
