About The Transporter
Frank Martin (Jason Statham) is a former special forces operator turned driver for hire, bound by strict rules he keeps breaking. Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen created the series at EuropaCorp, and Statham headlined three films: The Transporter (2002), Transporter 2 (2005), and Transporter 3 (2008), the highest grossing entry of the run.
Release order is story order. The Transporter Refueled (2015) recasts Frank with Ed Skrein and resets the timeline, so it plays as a reboot rather than a fourth chapter. Transporter: The Series (2012-2014) sits in its own continuity and is covered in the notes below.

Refueled began life as The Transporter Legacy, announced at Cannes 2013 as the start of a new trilogy from EuropaCorp and Fundamental Films after Statham talks collapsed over a three film deal. No sequel followed, and a January 2025 ScreenRant rundown judged a Statham-led Transporter 5 unlikely. Treat any Transporter 5 talk as rumor.
Transporter: The Series ran 24 episodes over two seasons with Chris Vance as Frank and ended on a cliffhanger when cancellation was announced on November 26, 2015. Francois Berleand is the only film actor to cross over, reprising Inspector Tarconi. The show gives Frank a different backstory (orphan, British Army, SAS), so treat it as a separate continuity and optional viewing.
