About Vincente Minnelli
Cabin opened in 1943 with all Black cast, St Louis in 1944 with trolley song, and Clock in 1945. Father of Bride came in 1950, American in Paris in 1951 with 17 minute ballet, and Bad and Beautiful in 1952.
Band Wagon followed in 1953 with triple dancing and Schwartz numbers, Lust for Life in 1956 with Kirk sunflowers, Gigi in 1958 with nine Oscars and Paris streets, Some Came Running in 1958, Clear Day in 1970, and Matter of Time in 1976. Minnelli died July 1986. Watch in release order for the color design habit.
