About Wallace & Gromit
Wallace and Gromit is Aardman's stop-motion flagship from creator Nick Park. Three shorts ran from A Grand Day Out (1989) through A Close Shave (1995), with The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave each winning the animated short Oscar. The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005) took the series feature-length and won the animated feature Oscar. Ben Whitehead voices Wallace following the late Peter Sallis.
A Matter of Loaf and Death (2008) was the most-watched UK TV programme of its year. Vengeance Most Fowl (2024) brought back villain Feathers McGraw, premiered on BBC One on Christmas Day 2024, and reached Netflix globally on January 3, 2025 with over 21 million UK viewers in 28 days. Park says more stories are possible, but nothing new was dated as of September 2026.
Good to know
Cracking Contraptions (2002), ten short web films, is optional and fits anywhere after A Close Shave. Shaun the Sheep spun out of A Close Shave and has its own post, Shaun the Sheep Watch Order.
No new Wallace and Gromit project was dated as of September 2026. Park has only said ideas are in circulation and a Feathers McGraw return is possible, so the next entry is tracked as undated talk rather than a listing.
