About Wayne's World
Wayne's World follows Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar hosting a cable show from Wayne basement in Aurora. The 1992 film pits them against producer Benjamin Kane over Cassandra rocker deal, while the 1993 sequel mounts the Waynestock festival after Jim Morrison road dreams.
Both films grow from Saturday Night Live sketches with Myers and Carvey. Watch the SNL bits as an optional warm up, then the two films in release order since the sequel assumes the show, the sponsors and the Cassandra romance. No third film has moved forward despite years of talk.
