About Yamakasi
Yamakasi from April 2001 follows seven traceurs stealing for a boy's heart transplant in Paris banlieues. Ariel Zeitoun directs with Luc Besson producing and real Yamakasi founders jumping rooftops. The hospital runs drive every chase with police comedy and sirens.
Les Fils du Vent from 2004 sends the crew to Bangkok for a martial arts tournament with new fighters. The same spirit returns with Thai stunts and no recast of jumps. No third was dated by September 2026, so the Bangkok bout stands as the close.
Good to know
Watch the 2001 film before the 2004 sequel since crew bonds and police heat carry over directly. The second assumes you know the S1 heart heist and banlieue roofs from Paris jumps. Rooftops reset each city but the traceur code builds throughout. Treat the pair as a closed parkour arc with the Bangkok bout as the final bow.
