Season 1 ran eight episodes January 17 to February 7, 2024 with the siege and the uncle flashbacks interleaved. Season 2 ran eight more July 22 to August 12, 2026 on Disney+ and Hulu, widening the helper network war.
Disney renewed it in April 2025 and premiered the second run that July. No third season is announced. Watch season 1 first since the uncle timeline and the shopping mall arsenal return across the second siege.
Good to know
Release order is the story order. Season 2 assumes the uncle flashbacks and the mall siege rules from season 1, so starting late strands newcomers. The two seasons total sixteen episodes with no recap to place. No third season is announced by Disney. The source novel sits behind the show as background for readers after the second siege.
