About Agent Carter
Agent Carter continues Peggy Carter's story after Captain America, with Hayley Atwell fighting postwar sexism and Soviet plots in the SSR. It grew from the 2013 Marvel One-Shot short, then ran eight episodes from January 2015 and ten more from January 2016 on ABC.
The series sits inside MCU canon between the One-Shot and the modern films, seeding S.H.I.E.L.D. and the Black Widow program. ABC cancelled it after season two on a cliffhanger. Watch the One-Shot first, then both seasons in order. The short sets up the SSR status quo the series opens with.
