About Asura
Asura follows four sisters in 2025 across seven episodes set in 1979 Tokyo after their father may have a lover. Early episodes gather Takiko, Tsunako, Makiko and Sakiko around the rumor at family dinners.
The middle run pairs each sister with her own affair or marriage strain while the mother watches. The closing run ends on the winter gathering and the title reckoning.
